
First Friday Art Walk
What is ArtWalk? Thirty-one of Walla Walla’s Arts Businesses—including art galleries, art venues, artists’ studios and museums—extend their hours on the first Fridays of the month, May through December, from 5 to 8 p.m. for Walla Walla’s ArtWalk, exhibiting works of local, national and international artists.
How to participate? ArtWalk is FREE and open to all art enthusiasts. Look for the signs in the windows of participating art venues. These correspond with the numbers on the map.
Special exhibits for August 6th:
WILLOW - 2 E ROSE
Mixing Media: 7 by 13 Daymon Bruck, Carmen Castaldo, Tony Gardner, Glen Greenwalt, Martha Mason, Margie McDonald, Matt McKern, Jeanne McMenemy, M'Lisse Moerk, John Saling, Deborah Stafford, Teresa Tamura, WaterDrop WorkShop. Opening Night Reception. Talks by Daymon Bruck + Glen Greenwalt & Demo by Margie McDonald begin at 6 pm.
KIRKMAN HOUSE MUSEUM - 214 N COLVILLE
Chapeux: an exhibit of vintage millinery from the 1890s through the 1960s- learn how the social trends &events of each era influenced the styles of women's head dress, from the Gibson Girls to Jacqueline Kennedy. Opening Reception 5-8 pm.
WILLIAMS TEAM HOMES - 126 E ALDER
Collage Paintings by Martha Mason plus taste fine wines from Basel Cellars. Proceeds from tasting will benefit Eastgate Lions Club.
